# Warmup a newly registered number

Warming up your WhatsApp number before getting started

It is recommended to wait 2-3 weeks after registering a number on WhatsApp before linking it to WAGHL or any automation tool. Warm up the number by exchanging messages on the WhatsApp app first.

Recommendations and tips for WhatsApp number warm-up:&#x20;

1. **Start Low & Increase Gradually:** Begin with 5-10 messages a day to known contacts, then slowly ramp up to 50-100 messages over a week or two.
2. **Engage with Known Contacts:** Focus on messaging people who know you to reduce the chance of being flagged as spam.
3. **Vary Message Content:** Send a mix of texts, images, and voice messages for a natural communication flow.
4. **Focus on Engagement:** Aim for replies and interaction to build trust and demonstrate that your messages are welcome.
5. **Introduce Business Messages Slowly:** Avoid heavy promotional messaging early on—start with informational or helpful content.
6. **Avoid Automation Initially:** Stick to manual messaging for the first couple of weeks to establish trust before automating.
7. **Follow Best Practices:** Only message opted-in contacts, and avoid sending unsolicited or bulk messages.
8. **Monitor Metrics:** Watch for engagement levels and any signs of issues (e.g., blocked numbers or warnings).
9. **Use SIM-based Numbers:** They're more trusted than VoIP numbers.
10. **Stay Consistent:** Keep messaging regularly to maintain trust and avoid sudden usage spikes.\
    \
    These steps will help ensure your WhatsApp number warms up safely, minimizing the risk of bans or restrictions.

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/3ZUsQn3H3co>" %}

### Overview

WhatsApp list messages are a type of interactive message within WhatsApp Business. Brands can use them to add interactive elements to their campaigns and messages, encouraging more engagement and responses from their audience.&#x20;

It’s a fantastic way to display the options of products/ services/ queries to a buyer, making the interaction more streamlined and directional.

### When You Should Use It <a href="#when-you-should-use-it" id="when-you-should-use-it"></a>

Owing to the interface that this type of message offers, List Messages are best for presenting several options, such as:

* A customer care or FAQ menu
* Schedule appointments
* Hotel Booking
* Available reservation times
* Order food

### What are the benefits of WhatsApp list messages?‍

1. **WhatsApp list messages help save time:**

With a WhatsApp list message, you can create a list of options a customer can ask questions around. Customers can quickly select an option from a list, instead of manually typing it out, making the to and fro conversation much faster and simpler.

2. **Improve customer experience**

You can create different list messages to address various customer queries. Customers can navigate through the list on their own, without needing to wait for a response from a business representative.

3. **Increase conversion rates**

Since List messages are easy to use, save time, and are comprehensible, customers are more likely to respond to messages.

4. **Relieve staff**

Business owners and staff can use their time for more productive tasks instead of responding to customer inquiries

# Unlimited WhatsApp numbers in a single sub-account

Connect and manage multiple WhatsApp numbers—without limits—under one GoHighLevel sub-account.

### Perfect for teams, multi-agent setups, or managing multiple businesses from a single dashboard.

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/nMHcXoSe794>" %}
How to enable Multiple WhatsApp number in GHL sub account&#x20;
{% endembed %}

**What is the multiple WhatsApp numbers feature in a single sub-account**\
\
This feature allows you to connect and manage **multiple WhatsApp numbers** within a **single GoHighLevel sub-account**. Each number can be used independently—for different agents, teams, or brands—all from the same unified dashboard. It’s ideal for businesses handling high volumes of conversations or managing communication for multiple clients or departments.

**What is the difference between Single, Unlimited, and Team WhatsApp features?**

**i. Single WhatsApp:** By default, you can connect **one WhatsApp number** to your account as soon as you register and start using our services. No additional setup is required—this configuration is ready to use out of the box.

**ii. Unlimited WhatsApp:** The **Unlimited WhatsApp** feature allows you to connect **multiple WhatsApp numbers** within a single sub-account. Each user can link their own WhatsApp number, enabling them to send and receive messages independently. This setup is ideal for businesses that assign customers to specific users or agents, ensuring personalized communication from each user's number.

**iii. Team WhatsApp:** The **Team WhatsApp** feature is a powerful and advanced setup that allows **multiple users to share a single WhatsApp number**. You can also **create multiple teams**, each with their own shared number. This is perfect for collaborative support, sales teams, or departments that need unified communication from a single WhatsApp line.

If you have a **sales team with three members**, each member can log in using their individual GoHighLevel credentials but still use **one shared WhatsApp number** to communicate with customers. Each team member can handle their own customer conversations, while the **admin has full visibility** into all interactions across the team.&#x20;

**How to Enable Multiple WhatsApp Numbers in a Single Sub-Account?**

To enable this feature, simply follow the steps outlined in the tutorial video. Here's a quick summary:

1. **Create multiple users** within your GoHighLevel sub-account.
2. **Log in as each user** and connect a unique WhatsApp number.

Each user will be able to send and receive messages through their own WhatsApp number, all under the same sub-account.

**How much do I need to pay?**

You are billed **per subscription**, and **each user or connected WhatsApp number** is counted as **one subscription**.

For example, if you connect 5 WhatsApp numbers under a single sub-account, you will be billed for **5 subscriptions**.

#### **Pricing Plans:**

**1. $29 Plan**

* **$29/month per subscription**
* Applies if you have **10 or fewer** active subscriptions
* Subscriptions can be single-user or multi-user
* *Example:* 3 connected numbers = **3 × $29 = $87/month**

**2. $19 Plan**

* **$19/month per subscription**
* Applies automatically when you have **more than 10** active paid subscriptions
* No need to contact support—the system upgrades your pricing automatically
* *Example:* 15 connected numbers = **15 × $19 = $285/month**

**Do I need to use a different custom menu link for a multi-user feature?**

Yes, if you're using the **multi-user WhatsApp feature**, you will need to use a **separate custom menu link**. The specific link may vary depending on the **WhatsApp Gateway** you're using.\
\
**How to Find the Correct Custom Menu Link:**

1. **Switch to the target sub-account** in your GoHighLevel dashboard.
2. Go to **Settings → Phone Numbers → Advanced Setting**

<table><thead><tr><th width="214">Name</th><th>URL</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>WhatsApp Gateway 1</strong></td><td><code>https://app1.waghl.com/public/api/wadevice?app={{location.id}}&#x26;email_id={{user.email}}</code></td></tr><tr><td><strong>WA1 Connector</strong> </td><td><code>https://wa1.waconnector.com/public/api/wadevice?app={{location.id}}&#x26;email_id={{user.email}}</code></td></tr><tr><td><strong>WA2 Connector</strong> </td><td><code>https://wa2.waconnector.com/public/api/wadevice?app={{location.id}}&#x26;email_id={{user.email}}</code></td></tr></tbody></table>

\
**Multi-User Feature Availability**

If you don’t see the **multi-user option** in your WAGHL admin panel, please note that this feature is currently available to a limited number of users.\
If you'd like access, feel free to **contact us via our WhatsApp number** for activation.

**How many numbers I can connect with in a single sub-account?**

You can connect **unlimited WhatsApp numbers** within a single sub-account. There are **no limits from our side**..&#x20;

Yes, we do! The trial period for the multi-user feature aligns with your overall account trial:

1. **Activated on Day 1:**\
    You’ll receive a **full 14-day trial** if you enable the multi-user feature on the first day of registering.
2. **Activated Midway Through Trial:**\
    If you enable it later (e.g., after 5 days), you’ll get a **trial for the remaining days** (e.g., 9 days left = 9-day trial for multi-user).
3. **Enabled on a Paid Account:**\
    If you’re already on a paid plan, activating the multi-user feature gives you a **1-day free trial**. After 24 hours, a **payment link** will be sent for continued use.

Install WAGHL WhatsApp services as a separate channel, send both text messages as well WhatsApp message from GHL

\
**WhatsApp as a separate channel**\
You can add WhatsApp as an add-on communication channel inside GHL. After installing the app, It will be available in the conversation channel under a separate tab named WAMSG.

**How to add inside GHL?**&#x20;

To add WhatsApp as a separate channel, you can register using the below link and follow the steps given in the video.

[**https://waghl.com/wa-channel/**](https://waghl.com/wa-channel/)

**When and why should we incorporate it as a separate channel?**\
You can use this feature to keep using the existing SMS channel, i.e., LC or Twilio, to send text messages to your customers, and still you can send WhatsApp messages.&#x20;

By adding it as a separate channel, it will not replace the existing SMS functionality with WhatsApp. SMS will keep working as it is, and whenever you want to send WhatsApp messages, you can send them easily from the WhatsApp tab.

**Can I use it in the Workflow automation?**

Yes, you can do that by using premium actions inside the workflow. You can easily send text messages, media messages, internal notifications, etc. from Workflow automation.&#x20;

Also, you can use it as a trigger, just select WAMSG in the trigger.

**Are there any limitations to using WhatsApp as a channel?**

Using the Channel feature has certain limitations:

• You will need to use premium actions to use this within automations (GHL charges a small amount for this per use)&#x20;

• The custom channel does not show up in filters (based on reply channels, you can still filter by incoming messages etc.), a work-around maybe required in certain use cases with automations due to this.

**What is the cost of using WhatsApp as a separate channel?**

&#x20;The subscription fee will be as per the below plan.&#x20;

**i. $29 Plan:** We charge $29 per month per subscription if you have 10 or less than 10 active subscriptions.&#x20;

**ii. $19 Plan:** Pay just $19 per subscription if you have 10+ active paid subscriptions.&#x20;

# Automatically send SMS to Non-WhatsApp numbers

Enable SMS as a fallback option when a contact's number is not registered on WhatsApp

### Automatically Send SMS to Non-WhatsApp Numbers:

Our system can automatically send SMS messages to contacts whose numbers are not registered on WhatsApp. To enable this feature, you can integrate with [**SMSFORCRM** ](/sms-service)or **Twilio**.

If you're using **Twilio**, you'll need your **Account SID**, **Auth Token**, and a **Twilio phone number**. Once configured, the system will detect non-WhatsApp numbers and automatically trigger an SMS.

**You can choose from the following messaging options:**

1. **WhatsApp** *(default)***:** Messages will be sent only via WhatsApp.
2. **Only SMS:** Messages will be sent exclusively via SMS; WhatsApp will not be used.
3. **WhatsApp & SMS:** Messages will be sent through both WhatsApp and SMS.
4. **WhatsApp or SMS:** The message will be sent via WhatsApp first. If the number is not registered on WhatsApp, it will automatically fall back to SMS.
5. **Contact Tagged as - "only sms":** Tagging a contact as *"Only SMS"* ensures that they receive messages via SMS only, while all other contacts continue to receive messages through WhatsApp. This is helpful when certain contacts prefer or require communication exclusively through SMS.

***Note*****:** Due to limitations on the GoHighLevel (GHL) side, LC (LeadConnector) phone numbers do not provide a SID and Auth Token. As a result, you **cannot use LC numbers to send SMS.**

# Spintax Messaging in WAGHL

Automatically create multiple variations of a single message, making your outreach look more natural and human-like

Instead of sending the exact same message to every contact, WAGHL intelligently rotates different words and phrases to generate unique messages for each recipient.

### Why Use Spintax?

When sending bulk messages, repeating the exact same text can:

* Look robotic
* Increase the chances of being flagged as spam

Spintax solves this by introducing variation into your messages, helping improve deliverability and engagement.

Platforms using similar techniques rely on message variation to “simulate human behavior” and avoid spam detection.

### How Spintax Works

Spintax uses a simple bracket format to define variations within your message.

#### Basic Syntax:

{Option 1 | Option 2 | Option 3}

Each time the message is sent, WAGHL randomly selects one of the options.

***

#### Example:

{Hi | Hello | Hey} {{contact.first\_name}},

{just checking in | wanted to follow up | reaching out} regarding your inquiry.

#### Possible Outputs:

* Hi John, just checking in regarding your inquiry.
* Hello John, wanted to follow up regarding your inquiry.
* Hey John, reaching out regarding your inquiry.
* Hi John, wanted to follow up regarding your inquiry.

Each contact receives a slightly different version.

***

### Where You Can Use Spintax

You can use Spintax anywhere you send messages in WAGHL:

* Bulk messaging campaigns
* Workflow automations
* Broadcast messages
* Follow-ups and nurturing sequences

***

### Best Practices <img src="https://2313828995-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FdBA0EUhBaqGNudxOfOLO%2Fuploads%2FASAaMebJ96JWXMxaBzY3%2Fbest_practices_icon.svg?alt=media&amp;token=02c7969c-91bb-41b6-8388-270c70c22ed1" alt="" data-size="line">

To get the best results, follow these guidelines:

#### 1. Keep It Natural

Avoid overcomplicating your message with too many variations. Focus on key parts like:

* Greeting
* Opening line
* Call-to-action

#### 2. Combine with Personalization

Use merge fields along with Spintax:

{Hi | Hey} {{contact.first\_name}}

#### 3. Don’t Overdo It

You don’t need dozens of variations. Even small changes make a big difference.

#### 4. Use with Drip Messaging

Send messages gradually instead of all at once to maintain a natural sending pattern.

### Important Notes <img src="https://2313828995-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FdBA0EUhBaqGNudxOfOLO%2Fuploads%2Fnn3EyCphxuqUYVGpXaSN%2Fimportant_notes_icon.svg?alt=media&amp;token=315a8b1a-f147-4ad6-b4da-cfcae4eb2f59" alt="" data-size="line">

* Spintax improves variation, not message quality — your copy still matters.
* Always message contacts who have opted in.
* Avoid spammy or overly promotional language.

***

### Summary

Spintax Messaging in WAGHL helps you:

* Create unique message variations automatically
* Improve deliverability
* Reduce spam risk
* Make bulk messaging feel personal
